Wide Receivers

The biggest remaining need in the 2020 recruiting class is at wide receiver. FSU offensive coordinator Kendal Briles spoke about the need for better depth at he wide receiver position.

The Noles have two blue chip wide receivers currently committed and will likely need to take two more for an optimal finish.

The two commits compliment each other extremely well. Malachi Wideman is a freak of an athlete who’s 6’4″ and could play on the outside similar to Tamorrion Terry.

Ja’Khi Douglas is smaller at 5’9″ but similar to Keyshawn Helton who could be a nightmare in the slot.

FSU will likely look at taking another slot receiver and receiver who can play on the outside.

They are in a great position for former Miami commit Bryan Robinson who can play on the outside who’s ranked as the No. 108 player in the nation.

They also like Miami commit Marcus Fleming who would be the other slot receiver if he were to flip to the Noles. Both of these players visited FSU for its Saturday Night Live event which is a good sign.
