Offensive Tackle

The Noles currently have four offensive linemen committed and need one more offensive tackle in this class.

They recently added two offensive tackles in Thomas Shrader and Lloyd Willis at the Saturday Night Live event at the end of July.

The tackle position has been a weakness along the offensive line and for a number of years as the old regime did a poor job of creating competitive depth at the position.

FSU coaches are trying to combat the problem by using the transfer portal and JUCO route along with identifying quality high school offensive tackles.

The top target remaining is four-star offensive tackle Isaiah Walker Jr. who visited recently during FSU’s Saturday Night Light Event.

It’s going to be a battle between FSU football, Florida and Miami, but it would a homerun for this staff if they could make him a part of this class.

They do have a couple of other options should he choose to go elsewhere, but either way they need another offensive tackle in this class.
