Coaches Can Still Recruit

Man, it wasn’t looking pretty one time I can’t lie. However, the FSU football coaches made a simple adjustment to their recruiting plan.

They wanted to win the state of Florida and cherry pick players from Georgia since it’s relatively their backyard and a place FSU has recruited well historically.

Tuesday night the Noles landed its No. 1 running back target in top 100 player Jaylan Knighton and they are in a prime position to land several more blue chip players.

A whopping 17 of the 20 commits for the 2020 class hail from the Sunshine state. This class is ranked No. 11 in the nation and could be as high as No. 6 if a couple of targets leaning their way decide to commit.

The class has met almost every need and in a great position to be picky with the rest of its slots while beginning to put more work into 2021 and beyond.

Now, all the staff has to is put out a respectable product on the field in 2019 and recruiting should take care of itself with how this staff evaluates.
