New Targets

FSU offered Thomas Shrader earlier this year and has been actively recruiting him the entire time

His visit to Saturday Night Live was his fourth visit this year and you know what they say in recruiting, to follow the visits.

FSU spent a lot of time on Shrader in the past few months building that relationship and getting him on campus so much.

Things got interesting when he took an official visit to Louisville, but ultimately the familiarity of visiting FSU so many times was enough to pull the trigger.

Plus, Tallahassee is much closer to home than Louisville. Now that Shrader has committed the FSU coaching staff can turn its attention to filling the rest of the needs in the class.

The biggest need right now is at running back and the Noles will likely take two this recruiting cycle.

Of course they’ll keep recruiting Schrader and the other commits, but now the coaches can spend more time focusing on finishing out the rest of the needs in this class.
