Miami

Miami currently has the No. 8 ranked recruiting class with 22 commits. Their class is largely ranked that highly because of the total number of commits they have.

The class consists of a blue chip ratio of 36 percent (8 of 22 commits are blue chip) which again backs up the notion the class is propped up by volume and not quality.

It was even worse before they landed four-star defensive end Chantz Williams a couple of days ago.

Their overall class per player average is 88.93, but that’s not what we’re here to discuss exactly although FSU beats them in all those categories.

We’re here to discuss who’s winning the state of Florida. Right now, Miami has 15 of their 22 (68 percent) commitments hailing from the Sunshine state.

If we were to take their composite state ranking and average it out among those 15 players it would equate to 71. FSU has a higher blue chip ratio, per player ranking and higher average among state rankings.

Just the facts, but we know Miami fans can comprehend those.
