Former defensive tackle Jacobbi McDaniel who bridged the gap between Bobby Bowden and Jimbo Fisher chimes in on Levonta Taylor’s second response.

Former player Bobby Hart under Jimbo Fisher chimes in as well.

So those comments give you a bit of context on the atmosphere of the program BEFORE Willie Taggart took over.

Is it the players didn’t come back because they were trying to get out due to the former regime and just kept that energy when Willie Taggart was hired? I mean there were a ton of players at the spring game LAST year.

Were they not welcome then?

Former FSU wide receiver P.K. Sam under the Bobby Bowden regime chimed in with some reasonable thoughts.

I have to agree with P.K. Sam here as this is likely what happens when you have too many former players involved. Realistically, the only time former players could really make an impact anyways is in the summer when players are doing most of the workouts on their own.

I know a better way they could help though. How about donate money back into the program and stop making the program look like a joke on social media.

I’m not saying any of these players haven’t donated money, but that would be the easiest and simplest way since FSU does’t have the financial resources of some of the schools that have been around much longer.
