Dontavious Jackson

Dontavious Jackson is a former four-star recruit who’ll be entering his senior season at FSU. He apparently flirted with thoughts of declaring for the NFL after his junior season before making the wise decision to return for his senior season.

Jackson returns as the most experienced linebacker on the team after amassing career highs in almost every category.

Jackson finished second on the team in total tackles (75) and was second on the team with seven tackles for loss.

The impressive thing about those numbers? Jackson only had 17 total tackles and one tackle for loss his sophomore season playing a reserve role behind senior Matthew Thomas.

It’ll be his second season in Harlon Barnett’s defensive scheme and he could see increased production with the experience accumulated last season.

If selected, Jackson would be the first FSU linebacker taken since Telvin Smith in 2014.
