Young Players Are Going To Make An Impact

I’ve mentioned it several times how over 30 percent of the 2018 recruiting class played significant snaps in 2018.

The same will hold true with the 2019 class. In fact, FSU football had six players to enroll early that recruiting cycle and likely five of the six are going to play a good bit this season.

I don’t think there’s any question Akeem Dent and Jaleel McRae are going to take snaps away from upperclassmen.

There’s a solid chance the likes of Dontae Lucas, Tru Thompson and Raymond Woodie III are playing a decent amount before the season is complete.

That’s not to mention the likes of Travis Jay, Brendan Gant and a few others arriving this summer who could contribute as true freshmen as well.

The mantra the best players will play seems to be fulfilling itself as players from the old regime graduate or leave the program.

I’ll take young players making mistake while giving their all over upperclassmen that suck the life out of a program any day.
