FSU football spring camp concluded last week with its spring game. We take a look at the top five things learned after spring practice.

Well, FSU football spring practice and come and gone. We’re now officially in countdown mode until August 31st when FSU takes on Boise State in its 2019 opener in Jacksonville.

The ‘Noles came into spring practice with a number of questions with a new coaching staff. A number of them were answered, but there are still some question marks in some key spots.

Willie Taggart is excited about the direction of the program compared to last year. The spring game seemed to show that as things looked more crisp and organized.

The coaching staff did a great job of getting quality recruits on campus which has culminated into a solid recruiting class thus far.

The Noles are in the mix for a number of blue chip players but most importantly have their quarterback of the future in Jeff Sims who should shoot up the recruiting rankings after recent performances.

The bad taste of missing a bowl game for the first time in 37 years hasn’t gone away, but it seems as though the program has weathered that storm for the most part.

Recruits are still flocking to Tallahassee and an eight win or more season should give Willie Taggart all he needs to get things running on all cylinders again.

Let’s take a look at my five takeaways from the conclusion of spring camp.
