Conclusion

Remember how I wrote earlier this week that Leonard Hamilton was snubbed on the ACC Coach of the Year Award? Well, he just beat the guy that won it and I can’t think of anything better than this:

That’s facts! FSU has a veteran team and that experience always seems to matter in big time games. That experience was crucial against Virginia Friday night as the Cavaliers made their run about halfway through the second half.

The other thing to consider is Duke may have just won their Superbowl in beating their arch rival after losing to them twice. They could come into the game overlooking the Noles since they were able to win a few weeks ago without Williamson for a half.

That would be a mistake my friends! I like FSU’s size and length on defense to make things tough for the Blue Devils. I think the depth of the Noles will emerge in the second half and I like FSU basketball to win it as long as they don’t have more then 14 turnovers and Duke doesn’t make 10 or more three-pointers.

They only made five against UNC Friday night. The game will air on ESPN at 8:30 p.m. ET.
