Depth

FSU basketball is one of the deepest teams in the country which creates a variety of advantages, particularly in a tournament setting.

This will be the third game in as many days and that depth could come into play, not to mention the track meet Duke was involved with against UNC.

UNC ran Duke up and down the court all night with Barrett and Trey Jones playing all 40 minutes. Zion Williamson played 35 minutes in only his second game back. Duke really only played seven players the entire game against UNC.

The Noles regularly go 11 players deep with 11 players averaging nearly 10 minutes or more per game.

FSU can go with a big lineup or a smaller lineup and they have one of the best players in the conference coming off the bench in Mfiondu Kabengele.

I think Duke is going to come into this game with some tired legs since their game against UNC didn’t end until after 11:30 p.m. ET.

The Noles expended a lot of injury on defense against Virginia, but depth could be the deciding factor in this one and that edge goes to the Noles.
