Biggest Upside-Travis Jay

Travis Jay finally became a four-star rated player late in the recruiting cycle, but I thought he was a borderline five-star talent.

This kid is a baller with the ability to play several different positions in the garnet and gold. He already has good size at 6’1 185 pounds, but I can’t wait to see how he develops once he gets into the FSU strength and conditioning program.

He’s not an early enrollee but I expect him to play snaps as a true freshman and he has the athleticism to be special.

The Noles are pretty stacked at cornerback so it’s likely Jay could make it onto the field as a safety.

That position was a liability last season with AJ Westbrook, but an inexperienced Travis Jay would be an upgrade there with his physical traits.

When a kid is rated as a four-star and still called underrated? Yes, that’s just how much I like Travis Jay.
