2019 Schedule

The 2018 FSU football schedule was pretty easy in stretches, but pretty brutal towards the end.

They really had a shot at going into the Clemson game undefeated had injuries not hit and the offense didn’t look like paint drying on the wall.

What’s crazy is they were a couple of plays (Louisville and Boston College) from going 3-9 on the season and another play (Miami) from going 6-6.

The 2018 schedule doesn’t look near as daunting and the Noles are still more talented overall than every team on the schedule except Clemson. Their biggest difference maker is quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

If going off talent alone the Noles could conceivably go 10-2 or 9-3 with the 2019 schedule. They have bye weeks in solid places aside from prior to the Clemson game and don’t play on any short weeks.

They also avoided a murderer’s row of games back-to-back-to back like they had in 2018. Their two toughest games back-to-back are probably Miami and Boston College and neither team was very good in 2018.

A lot of returning experience, coaching upgrades on offense and an easier schedule should make most FSU football fans excited about how much they can improve over last season.
