FSU Offense was Unstoppable

The 2013 FSU football team scored 723 points in just 14 games and averaged 51.6 ppg compared to Clemson’s 44.3 ppg.

Listen, that was with the starters playing hangman on the sidelines in the third quarter with the reserves playing in most games.

The ‘Noles offense averaged 7.67 ypp compared to Clemson’s 7.35 ypp. FSU’s offense converted third downs 52.23 percent of the time compared to Clemson’s offense who converted 46 percent of the time.

FSU was better offensively in the red zone as they scored touchdowns 79 percent of the time compared to Clemson’s 76 percent.

Clemson’s offense was held under 30 points three times in 2018. FSU football was never held under 34 points the entire 2013 season. In fact, they were only held under 40 points twice all season.
