Intangibles

One of the best things about the 2013 FSU football team was how much experience AND talent was on that team.

Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston was a redshirt freshman but everyone else was a seasoned veteran.

The offensive line consisted of three juniors and two seniors.

FSU’s wide receivers may have been less talented overall, but each had at least three years of experience and put up better numbers in less games.

Clemson started a true freshman quarterback and a very young group of wide receivers. How would they against a FSU secondary consisting of Ronald Darby, PJ Williams, Jalen Ramsey, LaMarcus Joyner and Terrance Brooks?

Probably not so well.

FSU was better at the tight end position with Nick O’Leary too.

The defense line was one of the best in the country and and only allowed 3.26 yards per rush.

Then there’s this:

The Noles had 17 players to be named All-ACC and had three players that were consensus All-Americans.
