Organization

How many times did the offense looked utterly lost in 2018? What about the same penalties being committed in game one and game 12?

The new offensive coordinator has to be an excellent organizer with supreme attention to detail. That’s not to say Walt Bell didn’t have great attention to detail, and again him not being able to call plays could have hindered him somewhat.

Who knows, maybe he had checked out halfway through the season after figuring things probably were not going as he anticipated?

Nevertheless, the new offensive coordinator has to be able to game plan and effectively communicate that game plan to to the players.

The players have to have the same attention to detail in their assignments on each play, not to mention where to lineup.

Coach Taggart wants a up-tempo offense and it’s hard to use that as an advantage when players don’t know they need to be on the field or where/how to lineup exactly.
