FSU football had been at the mountain top for a long time and now finds itself at the base for the first time in forever. Players believe they’ll bring the Noles back.

I’m 40 years old and never seen FSU football have a losing season or remember them missing a bowl game.

They were back-to-back 10 win seasons just two years ago and have gone 12-13 over the past two years.

It’s doesn’t look like it’ll be a quick fix either with the offensive line woes and lack of depth at linebacker. What will happen with the quarterback position in 2019? Will Deondre Francois leave the program or will James Blackman win the starting gig?

Could 2019 Sam Howell put his name in the mix since he’ll be an early enrollee next month?

Nevertheless, there are some players and commits who are vowing to bring FSU football back to prominence.

Twitter

Four-star 2019 linebacker commit Jaleel McRae who shut his recruitment down last week.

2019 four-star defensive end Curtis Fann let’s it be known where he stands.

Four-star 2019 safety commit Brendan Gant chimes in too.

Thoughts

It’s great to see these players use social media to share their thoughts about the program moving forward. It’s definitely a youth movement aside from Dontavious Jackson who’s going into his senior season.

Jaiden Woodbey will be a sophomore next year as will Khalan Laborn who missed this year after getting injured in the season opener against Virginia Tech.

The 2018 class Willie Taggart was able to secure has a lot of players with a winning mentality and it looks like the 2019 class will be no different provided it stays together through National Signing Day.

Let’s see how it all shakes in Nole Nation!
