Deondre Francois

You probably are aware I’m not the biggest Deondre Francois fan. I was highly critical of him in the Boston College game and thought he played pretty awful overall.

The two interceptions didn’t help at all nor the inaccurate passes. However, he did do some good things like finally using his legs in the run game.

For all of his inaccuracies, he did throw some passes on the money including the game winning touchdown to Tamorrion Terry.

He also thew a nice pass to Tre McKitty that would have been huge if caught but that pass was dropped.

For all of his faults Francois does seem to play well in big moments. Just look at the Louisville game earlier this year which was really similar to the Boston College game in the final minutes.

His pass to Nyqwan Murray to seal the win against Michigan in the Orange Bowl was big too.

He had a couple of nice passes that set FSU up for Cam Akers rushing touchdown too. Francois finished the game with 322 passing yards on 19 of 39 passes and 26 rushing yards.
