FSU football found a way to come from behind and beat Boston College for their fifth win of the year. We look at five observations from the game.

Wow, what a FSU football game that likely took a few years off my life. It was a game FSU should have won handedly if not for self-inflicted wounds and the inability of the offense to feed off the early success of the defense.

That’s been the case all season as neither the offense can score when the defense is playing well or vice versa.

The defense held Boston College to 3.84 ypp and seven points in the first half while the FSU offense ran 47 plays only to score two field goals while turning the ball over twice.

The second half was the total opposite as Boston College was able to put together long sustained drives while scoring touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters.

FSU only ran 28 plays in the second half but was able to score 16 points en route to coming from behind with under three minutes to play for the game winning touchdown.

All in all, we’ll take a win however we can get it but there were both negatives and positives coming out of the game. We take a look at our top five observations from the win.
