Willie Taggart confident he’ll be able to turn FSU program around
By Kelvin Hunt
Willie Taggart said FSU football has a two game season left. They need to win both to become bowl eligible for the 37th consecutive time.
Willie Taggart spoke with media Monday afternoon after the ‘Noles blowout loss to Notre Dame Saturday night.
Taggart continues to harp on issues that have been hindering the success of the Noles are season.
Things like turnovers, penalties and lack of execution on both sides of the ball continue to be prevalent 10 games into the season.
Taggart continues have faith in this team and believes their are a lot of talented players on the roster.
He talks about Deondre Francois remaining the starting quarterback the reminder of the season, defensive woes and more.

Thoughts
Willie Taggart continues to assert Deondre Francois is playing well and was a victim of dropped passes in the Notre Dame game that prevent him for getting in a rhythm.
It’s true the wide receivers had a number of drops, but they also had a number of catches on balls poorly thrown by Francois.
One thing that concerns me is Taggart saying the team is practicing well every week but essentially not taking their practice habits to actual games.
I’m not at practice but there’s no way that’s the case with how poorly the Noles have performed in the same problem areas all season.
I do believe Willie Taggart can turn this program around, I mean they don’t have anywhere to go but up considering the talent on the roster.
It’s all going to depend on which players are processed or exit the program coupled with which recruits the Noles can bring into the next two recruiting classes.
FSU opened as underdogs against Boston College this week and will likely be underdogs against Florida next week. The good news is both games will be at home and the Noles can go bowling with two more wins.
The question is will they be able to capture that with their backs against the wall as they did last year?
