FSU Football: 3 reasons James Blackman should start against NC State

FSU football has struggled on offense all season and all four losses have involved poor quarterback play. We discuss why it’s James Blackman time.
FSU football hasn’t been anything close to the “Lethal Simplicity” we thought we’d be accustomed to seeing seven games into the season.
The Noles offense is ranked No. 111 according to S&P rankings and have only scored 21 touchdowns on the season with 14 of those coming via the pass. Sadly, half of those have come against the likes of Samford, Northern Illinois and Wake Forest.
The offense is averaging 4.98 yards per play and just 23 points per game. There are a lot of reasons for this.

It’s true I was on the James Blackman bandwagon before the season started as I wasn’t sold on Francois being the best option.
The coaches chose otherwise for whatever reasons, but I think it’s safe to say it’s time to give the youngster a shot to see what he can do with four games left in the season (unless they make a bowl game).
I take a look at three reasons why that’s the case.
