By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football seems to be turning the corner as a team after a rocky (3-3) start to the season. We look at who needs to improve in the second half of 2018.
FSU football had some lofty expectations going into the season that were based on the health of the team and reports coming out of fall camp.
The defensive line and secondary were thought to be strengths of the defense with questions at linebacker.
The FSU offense was thought to be turning a corner after the defense had a big edge during most of camp.
They was returning a quarterback with experience and one of the most talented stable of running backs in the country.
The wide receivers were inexperienced for the most part, but promising with arguably the most talented group at FSU football in the last decade.
However, a number of things happened that could not have been foreseen by those not at practice each day.
Offensive line injuries have depleted an already shallow group and that coupled with a new offensive install did a number on the FSU offense going into the season.
Those two things have led to FSU’s offense being one of the worst in the country through the first six games. There have been glimpses here and there, but things are going to have to continue to improve if FSU is to keep their bowl streak intact.
Here are our 3 players that need to improve in the second half of the season for FSU to be successful.
