Canes Starting Inexperienced QB

Think about it, a redshirt freshman is making his second career start against an aggressive defense than can limit the run.

The Noles are only allowing teams rush for 2.9 yards per carry. Their goal will be to stop the run and force N’Kosi Perry to try to beat them with his arm while being under duress from blitzes.

That’s a lot to ask of a young quarterback in his second start against a defense with several NFL caliber players on it.

Whose to say the Noles won’t be able to force the Miami offense into mistakes due to inexperience at that position.? It’s not like the Miami offense is anything special either.

It was with a different but much more experienced QB, but Miami averaged just 4.95 ypp against LSU.

Their offense stats have been padded much like their defensive stats against the cupcakes on their schedule.

If the Noles can shutdown the Miami running game like it has done in years past, I like their chances against the young QB.
