Offensive Line

I know this isn’t a “player” per se, but I had to give the offensive line some much-needed recognition after their performance against Louisville.

They only allowed two sacks on the day and gave Deondre Francois time to make almost all of his throws.

The fact of the matter is Deondre Francois had a terrible first half and missed a lot of throws he should have made. Those miscues were solely on him and not the offensive line.

Now, the running game hasn’t been able to get going but all of it isn’t on the offensive line either. The only allowed Louisville to have six tackles for loss in the game.

The two sacks and then the ridiculous double reverse playcall that had no chance of working went for a loss.

So, if you look at it that way that’s a marketed improvement compared to how they were looking in the first three games.

They’ll face an aggressive defensive line against Miami Saturday, so their last two performances should have them more confident going into that game.
