The offensive line isn’t as bad as people make it out to be the past few years. We’ve been saying it forever, they’ve been pretty good at run blocking as they have helped produced a 1,000 yard rusher for five consecutive seasons.

The problem was play calling that caused those inexperienced quarterbacks to hold the ball too long trying to make progressions.

This year’s offensive line is solid with its starting five, but it’s the thought of what could happen if the offensive line faces injuries.

If this line can run block the way it has the past few years the offense should just fine and put up over 35 points per game.

They shouldn’t have to pass block near as much, nor for as long because most of the passes having some sort of play-action that will slow down the pass rush.

The offensive production will go as the offensive line goes.
