Levonta Taylor is one of the best cornerbacks in the country and basically shutdown each receiver he went up against last season. He was credited as the No. 34 player in the nation according to ESPN top 50 players ranking.

He’s undersized but plays with great technique while being much more physical than receivers expect.

That should continue as this is his money year just like Brian Burns. A strong season could mean Taylor being one of the first cornerbacks drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft.

He finished 2017 with only 18 total tackles, but that’s because receivers rarely caught passes against him.

I expect Taylor to be a huge part of the FSU defense, eliminating receivers for the most part and allowing the rest of the defense to concentrate on shutting down other parts of opposing offenses.
