Dontavious Jackson returns as the most experienced linebacker on the roster with all of 21 games played and 37 total tackles.

However, the coaching change seem to give him a new lease on his career and new purpose to get into better shape.

Jackson has talent, the former four-star recruit plays with a fire in his belly and simply needs more experience to show what he’s capable of.

There’s a good chance he’ll lead the team in tackles provided he stays healthy in Harlon Barnett’s aggressive defense that allows linebackers to trigger downhill at opportune times.

This FSU linebacker unit is arguably the weakest unit on the team and Jackson will need to play well if this group isn’t a huge liability.

I’d expect 75+ tackles which would be a 257 percent increase from the 2017 season.
