DeMarcus Christmas

The anchor of the FSU defensive line will be heavily counted on again to be disruptive in the run and passing games.

Christmas is the most experienced defensive lineman and one of its strongest. Check out the lift released on Twitter Monday morning.

FSU defensive coordinator Harlon Barnett’s defense is built around stopping the opposition’s run game. That’s what Christmas excels at best, taking up space and allowing linebackers to come downhill and attack.

Christmas saw a huge leap in production last year in a system that didn’t play to his strengths and frankly got out-coached on several occasions.

He finished his junior season with 36 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, one sack and has a knack for batting down passes at the line of scrimmage with four.
