Raymond Woodie III (Four-star, Safety, No. 242 player nationally)

The name Raymond Woodie III probably sounds familiar because it’s the son of FSU linebackers coach Raymond Woodie.

He’s classified as a safety but can morph into a linebacker in the college at 6’1″ 191 pounds as a rising senior.

Woodie has over 30 offers from a lot of big time programs with FSU, Arkansas, Louisville and others in the mix.

Versatility is the biggest thing Woodie brings to the table with the ability to play a couple of positions.

FSU has a huge need at linebacker and safety so Woodie would fit right into the mix. It’s natural to think Woodie will end up at FSU just because his dad is a coach in Tallahassee.

However, it’s possible he could want to forge his own path and not feel like he got the offer just because his dad is a coach.

All one has to do is look at his offer list to prove that’s not the case though.
