William Putnam (Four-star, Offensive Lineman, No. 104 player nationally)

The Noles are in need of big boys with mean streaks up front and four-star William Putnam certainly fits the bill.

The Noles have one offensive lineman committed in four-star Dontae Lucas and adding Putnam would be huge.

He’s the No. 104 ranked player nationally and the No. 5 ranked offensive guard in this class. Putnam stands at 6’4″ 280 pounds and would be the third highest ranked recruit currently.

He’s visited Tallahassee twice this spring and seems to have formed a good relationship with Coach Greg Frey while enjoying his time on campus.

There are a couple of things I love about Putnam. He can play multiple positions but probably stays on the interior. The other is he is state champion wrestler which tells me his core strength is likely well above average and has a mean streak.
