Arizona Wildcats

One of the bigger wins in FSU basketball history outside of an ACC game was when they upset the defending national champion and top five ranked Wildcats during the 1997-98 season inside the Tucker Center.

Right now, the Pac-12 is kind of slim on the talent so playing the defending conference champs might be the best thing to do.

UCLA Bruins

Okay, old school fans – we’ve got to settle this score once and for all. Yes, the Bruins were a dynasty under head coach John Wooden and with players like Bill Walton, Kareen Abdul Jabbar and others during the 1960s and 70s, but they didn’t blow out the Seminoles during that 1972 title game. This is our chance to avenge that game…and losing in the preseason NIT tournament during the 1992-93 season, but more for the first one.

USC Trojans

If we can’t schedule the Bruins, the next best thing to do would still be to schedule a trip out to the City of Angels and face their bitter rivals – a team coached by former FSU basketball assistant Andy Enfield. The teams have met four times before, but not in Tallahassee since nearly 50 years ago, which means it’s time to get them back out to the Florida panhandle.
