Make Free Throws

The charity stripe has cost FSU basketball at least a couple of wins this season. The team only shoots around 68 percent from the line on the season, but has shot it at a 69.8 percent clip the first two games.

Free throws against Xavier were crucial as the Noles made 19 of 22 for the game which was unreal for this team.

On the flip side, they only made 18 of 31 against Missouri in the first round of the tournament which luckily didn’t cost them the game as they won by a large margin.

However, in games that could come down to the wire, free throws are usually critical in determining who wins and losses.

For instance, Xavier only made 19 of 30 free throws against FSU basketball and lost by five points.

There you go and not much more to say about that.
