Offensive Line

The much maligned offensive line will be under the new tutelage offensive line coach Greg Frey.

The good news is this is a talented offensive line with experience and Frey has replaced Rick Trickett at a previous stop which should make this transition rather seamless.

Center Alec Eberle returns along with the talented but often injured Landon Dickerson. Josh Ball, Cole Minshew and Derrick Kelly are the potential starters.

However, Corey Martinez, Baveon Johnson, Jauan Williams and Mike Arnold could provide a great deal of depth if they don’t crack the starting lineup.

Willie Taggart’s offense should take some pressure off this group in pass protection as it’s a run dominant.

However, the group will need to hold up in pass protection when asked as Taggart likes to take vertical shots downfield.

Greg Frey is known as a great offensive line coach which should pair well with the new strength and conditioning program. I look for this group to be improved over the last two or three seasons.
