Jaiden Woodbey

The player that arguably started the recruiting momentum for Willie Taggart. Woodbey begged the previous regime for a FSU offer and wasn’t given the time of day.

He was offered by Willie Taggart and committed to the ‘Noles less than two weeks later. Woodbey is physically ready to play college football and being an early enrollee helps his cause as well.

He’s he No. 35 ranked player and No. 4 safety in the nation.

The absence of Derwin James, Trey Marshall and Ermon Lane in the secondary means he’ll have opportunities to get on the field at the safety position.

He’s a player that can play in space and more importantly attack ball carriers coming down hill. Woodbey will straight lay the wood to opposing players in the run game too.

He’s a welcome addition to the secondary and should log a number of snaps as a true freshman.
