Xavier Peters

Xavier Peters is the No. 174 player and No. 12 ranked inside linebacker nationally. He’s physically mature as you could want a player to be coming out of high school and should have no issues adjusting to the physicality of college ball.

He’ll likely see time on special teams, but where he’ll see the biggest impact is in the buck role formerly occupied Jacob Pugh.

See how the FSU coaches sold him on playing at FSU:

Do you see how big that kid’s neck is? Goodness gracious he’s huge.

Peters can play standing up or with his hand in the dirt coming off the edge to attack the quarterback. He’s extremely physical and harkens back to the day’s FSU defenders put fear into opposing players.

We bringing that swag back baby!
