FSU football seems to have another quarterback in a tough situation with authorities.
FSU football quarterback Deondre Francois is being investigated for a domestic violence incident early Wednesday morning.
The news was first reported by the Tallahassee Democrat.
Let’s be clear, Francois has NOT been charged or arrested but the incident is being investigated by authorities.
Let’s hope the situation isn’t true and Francois is innocent. If he’s guilty then it’s simple and he should be punished accordingly, but this doesn’t help a player who’s taken a hit image wise with some FSU fans either way.
Fan Reaction
Enter all the trolls....if true, he should be immediately expelled. That said, don’t indict anyone until it’s been investigated. I believe you would all want the same for yourself, your son or anyone else in your family

Wouldn’t it be awesome if that system of innocent until proven guilty were applied to everyone.

Not sure what the standard procedure is, but the fact that no arrests have been made (yet) seems a bit odd.... I could be reading too much into it though... 🤷🏾♂️

I hope it's nothing also, but if it is...ppl wonder why WE questioned his leadership skills...

Thoughts
As I said, I’m not passing judgement until the investigation is through. It’s unfortunate for him to put himself in a situation where that’s possible, but again we don’t have all the details of what happened.
Most importantly, no charges have been filed and he hasn’t been arrested. The tweets of his teammates suggest all this could be overblown.
It’s natural for players to have the backs of their teammates, or maybe they’ve heard other rumors of what have happened with the incident.
The bad thing about these situations is people get scarred one way or another. If any abuse did take place then the victim has that to deal with all of the issues associated with it.
On the other hand, if nothing really happened, Francois has to deal with the public perception of being involved an incident other FSU quarterbacks have been associated with.

Either way it’s a situation where everybody loses, and we’re not even talking about football with that statement.
