FSU Football: 5 impact players from Independence Bowl win
By Kelvin Hunt
Auden Tate
We have to call him Mr. Tate. Wow, this kid could be a first or second round draft pick if he was able to be healthy the entire season.
The fact he’s been this productive while playing with a bum shoulder speaks volumes about how tough he is. He was unstoppable along with James Blackman against Southern Mississippi.
The two connected for three touchdowns with Tate hauling in five receptions for 84 yards.
Tate finished the season with 40 receptions for 548 yards and 10 touchdowns.
If Tate decides to return to FSU his senior season it could take this FSU offense to another level. He’s clearly the No. 1 receiver on the team and has outstanding chemistry with James Blackman.
