Conclusion

I know you’re reading this(especially if you’re a rival fan) thinking FSU isn’t going to get half of these players man!

The funny thing is I feel confident we’ll DEFINITELY get half of these players at the very least. For those that may be on the fence, there are other players in play of comparable rankings.

FSU football currently has a projected team score of 195.76 (No. 34), and needs a projected score of 250.02 to crack the No. 10 spot RIGHT now on the 247 composite rankings.

If they were to land the 10 players listed, they’d end up with a projected score of 269.72. That score would put them firmly in the No. 7 spot just a point or so behind Miami and well ahead of Florida.

Most teams have signed the bulk of their classes early, so their rankings shouldn’t fluctuate too much. Also, I don’t expect FSU’s current lowest rated commit to be in this class, an upgrade is expected there too.

I don’t expect FSU to land a top 5 class by any means, but to come from the No. 64 spot to a top 10 finish is some Bobby Bowden stuff.

There are other blue chip players FSU is involved with who could make their way to Tallahassee if a few of the listed players don’t.

Other Options

Players like the following:

  • Devon Hall, 5-star WR
  • Patrick Surtain, 5-star CB
  • Tommy Bush, 4-star WR
  • Jalen Hall, 4-star WR
  • Christopher Oats, 4-star LB
  • Joshua Moore, 4-star WR

FSU may be able to get one or two of those players depending on how things shake out. Willie Taggart has shown he can work magic in a short amount of time.

Also, the current crop of FSU commits (80 percent blue chip) will be doing their part to lure top talent to FSU to play with them.
