FSU football got its fourth win of the season by crushing Delaware State.
FSU football needs to win its next three games to keep its NCAA best consecutive bowl streak appearance in tact.
The first step is complete with a dominant win over lowly Delaware State Saturday afternoon.
The ‘Noles rolled to a 77-6 win and broke the 30 point offensive barrier for the first time all season.
In fact, FSU scored 56 points in the first half which is more than the last three game totals combined. It likely would have been more had both teams not agreed to play 10 minute quarters in the second half.
Delaware State is arguably one of the worst opponent the ‘Noles have ever played, but a win is a win and it’s one win closer to bowl eligibility.
We have the FSU fan reaction:
If this game woulda followed Alabama ( ULM) we are atleast 8-3 heading to UF. 7-4 at worst. Confidence is not measurable

This game feels like when you play your friend in Madden who’s never played before

Y'all bitching at me for complaining about FSU and their mistakes and then when I'm all excited about this game you say "it's Delaware state..." let me live!!!!

Thoughts
As one of the first tweet suggests, a game like this would have given this FSU team a great deal of confidence earlier in the season. I’m not sure we learned much from the game other than Delaware State is terrible.
However, it was great to see Justin Motlow score the first touchdown ever by a member of the Seminole Tribe.
DJ Matthews looks like he should have been returning punts a long time ago. Remind me who told you that weeks ago, but it finally looks like we have a playmaker at the position for the first time since Greg Reid.
James Blackman had a game that should help his confidence going forward with three touchdown passes and most importantly the team escaped with no major injuries during the game.

FSU will travel to Gainesville next week to take on arch rival Florida, and with a win will complete the biggest hurdle to bowl eligibility.
