QB

We told you Deondre Francois was the player FSU football could least afford to lose in 2017, but it didn’t take a rocket scientist to point that out with zero QB depth behind him.

Ultimately, this year will serve as a blessing in disguise next season, and FSU will have two quarterbacks with big time game experience.

Also, Bailey Hockman will have a year under his belt as a redshirt freshman in 2018.

FSU fans failed to adjustment expectations after Deondre Francois was lost for the season after the first game. A true freshman quarterback who didn’t enroll early going up against the No. 2 toughest schedule in the country?

Come on people.

The crazy thing is he has played well enough for FSU to be (6-3) right now if the FSU defense wasn’t a sieve on third down and Kelly most of the season.

Let me ask you a question. If Miami had to start N’Kosi Perry as a true freshman that didn’t enroll early, do you think they’d be undefeated right now?

No, not even close and that’s with a cupcake schedule at that. The crazy thing is they should have at least two losses with a guy that’s been there for two years prior to this season.

FSU will be fine when it comes to quarterbacks moving forward.
