FSU Football: Top 3 positives to takeaway from Alabama loss

FSU football outshined Alabama in a few areas Saturday night.

It was a game FSU football played well in two of three phases on the night. The game was closer than the score at the end of the game although it could have been much worse if not for a valiant effort from the FSU defense.

Of course, losing Deondre Francois for the season is a bitter pill to swallow and we hate it for such a good kid with a huge heart. However, that’ the game of football and now it’s next man up.

That’ll be true freshman James Blackman, the first true freshman to ever play for Jimbo Fisher at FSU.

They have one week to get him acclimated and simplify the offense to make him efficient as possible before Miami rolls to town in week three.

They always say you learn more from losses than wins, and we learned a great deal about this FSU team on Saturday night.
