Special Teams

Starters
Punter-Logan Tyler
PK-Ricky Aquayo
KR-Derwin James, Keith Gavin
PR-Tarvarus McFaddeen

No changes from last season regarding the kickers. However, what the ‘Noles need the most from these two is consistency.

According to Jimbo Fisher, Logan Tyler has had a good fall and is hitting the ball consistently.

Fisher has said that Aguayo has hit the ball well too, seems like he needs to be more dependable from 45 yards plus.

Punt returning was non-existent and McFadden as the starting returner is a surprise to me, but he did do it in high school. Derwin James and Keith Gavin returning kicks is a lot of meat back there, so I’m interested to see how that works out.

I’ll take a whole lot of returns like Gavin had in the Orange Bowl for $100 Alex.
