FSU Football: Top 7 freshmen to play meaningful minutes in 2017
By Kelvin Hunt
Tre McKitty
Tre McKitty is one of the most underrated players in the 2017 class. He was rated as a three-star player but is easily a four-star talent.
He chose the ‘Noles over Oregon and a host of other big time programs. He adds incredible size and mismatch opportunities from the tight end position.
In fact, he’s already taking reps from upperclassmen in practice. McKitty is 6 feet 4 inches and 240 pounds, a player FSU can flex out wide or put in the slot.

He’s likely more of a receiving threat than either Mavin Saunders or Ryan Izzo, and could start making some noise as he gets more comfortable with Jimbo Fisher’s offense.
Imagine the options of having Auden Tate, Keith Gavin, George Campbell and Tre McKitty on the field at the same time? All of them are 6 feet 3 inches and up with huge frames, and the speed to stretch the field.
Anytime McKitty is on the field look for explosive plays to happen.
