Offensive Line

I was worried about the offensive line big time and it’s still a concern obviously since it’s on this list. However, hearing that center Alec Eberle played with such injuries last season gives me a bit of optimism going into this season.

The offensive line got better as the season went on and they return a lot of experience. I expect Deondre Francois to be able to process/make decisions quicker which in turn should take some pressure off this unit.

They’ve always been a fairly good run blocking team, but the passing game is where this unit needs to see the biggest improvements. Eberle has now over 300 pounds, a far cry from the 280 he played at last season while injured.

He should be able to anchor much better, and hopefully Landon Dickerson can pick up where he left off as a true freshman before being lost for the season.

They’ll be heavily tested in three of the first four games.
