Minkah Fitzpatrick-Alabama

Alabama’s top defensive back and likely the first defensive back taken in the 2018 NFL Draft. Fitzpatrick is good in coverage but also isn’t afraid to come downhill and attack the run game.

Alabama uses him in multiple positions, he’s lined up outside and in the slot and excels in zone coverage.

He finished the 2016 season with 66 tackles, six interceptions with two returned for touchdowns.

Fitzpatrick has excellent length as most cornerbacks recruited by Nick Saban, but Alabama doesn’t just stick him against opposing teams best receiver. It’ll be interesting to see who they line him up against the most in the opener against FSU.
