Head-To-Head With Trevor Lawrence

I could be reaching on this one but hear me out. Whenever Justin Fields when to the Elite 11 competition he said he only focus was to prove that he was the best quarterback there.

He just so happened to win the MVP award over Trevor Lawrence and the other best quarterbacks in the nation.

If you’re new to recruiting, Trevor Lawrence is the No.

1

2 rated quarterback and No.

1

2 overall player in the 2018 recruiting class. Fields is the No.

2

1 quarterback and the No.

3

1 overall player.

It’s a natural rivalry already because they are both from the state of Georgia and in the same recruiting class.

Lawrence is a Clemson commit, and guess who Clemson has to play every year?

FSU.

The winner of the FSU/Clemson game has gone on to win the ACC every year since 2011. If Fields committed to FSU football, he’d have at least two opportunities to face Lawrence in arguably one of the biggest games of the year as that’s what that game has become since 2012.

He wouldn’t have that opportunity with the other schools.
