Final Thoughts

The FSU football team is stacked with talent and depth at most positions aside from quarterback and wide receiver. Who knew Malik Henry and Travis Rudolph would not be on the team this time last year?

The running backs have a ton of depth but are unproven aside from Jacques Patrick. The tight ends and linebackers have enough depth to be serviceable should injuries occur.

The defensive line has decent depth and the secondary is probably the deepest and most talented on the team.

The good news is FSU will not face the same level of juggernaut offensives and NFL level quarterbacks they faced in 2016. However, the offense doesn’t have Dalvin Cook who took over games by himself the last three years.

But the offense arguably has the most talented set of receivers since 2013 if they can stay healthy.

All in all, this team is in a good spot.

If FSU football can keep these five players on the field the entire year, it’ll certainly make their goals for the season easier to accomplish.
