FSU football returns a majority of their offense from the 2016 team – here are the five biggest questions on that side of the ball in 2017.

During the 13 games played last season for FSU football, there is no question that the offense was the strong point for the entire season. Just once last year did the Seminoles score less than 20 points in a game, while scoring more than 33 points in a game eight times over that span while being led by the school’s all time leading rusher, Dalvin Cook, and the surprisingly good play of redshirt freshman quarterback Deondre Francois.

In 2017, Cook will not be in the backfield as he is now the newest member of the Minnesota Vikings. At the same time, Francois is returning for his second season with a year of experience under his belt – and plenty of bruises from last season to show for it as he was sacked 36 times and knocked out of several games.

This year’s Florida State offense will feature a mixture of returning veterans who helped lead the Noles to their fifth straight double digit win season – along with one very crucial rookie who could be an instant game changer. All of that is part of the five most important questions for the FSU football offense in 2017.
