FSU football recruiting seems to be picking up momentum as of late. Fans react to the commitment of four-star linebacker Amari Gainer.

FSU football landed the 10th commitment to its 2018 recruiting class when local product Amari Gainer gave his pledge to the โ€˜Noles Friday night.

It was a move that came as no surprise to most, but it was a huge commitment nonetheless as the โ€˜Noles beat out Alabama, Miami and others for the talented linebacker.

Itโ€™s still early in the rankings, but the class now consists of 60 percent blue chip players and is ranked No. 6 in the nation, No. 2 in the ACC behind Miami.

Gainer dropped a great video to announcement his commitment which can be viewed below:

Gainer is expected to play the linebacker similar to Jacob Pugh who rushes off the edge and drops in coverage at times. Heโ€™s friends with another linebacker target, four-star Teradja Mitchell, whoโ€™s set to announce between FSU football and Ohio State next week.

If FSU can land both Gainer and Mitchell, that will be a heck of a linebacker haul with two players that like to lay the wood to opponents.

A lot of fans were skeptical of FSU recruiting (as they usually are every year), but Jimbo Fisher has proven heโ€™s an elite recruiter with a method to how he does things. Trust the process FSU fans!
