Ranking Justification

Mark Richt brought a lot of hype with him to Miami after being at Georgia since forever. However, the hype fell off like Big Mac toppings after the Miami’s annual loss to FSU.

Miami lost three consecutive games after the loss to the ‘Noles, but rattled off five straight wins to finish the season strong.

In fact, they defeated West Virginia in the Russell Athletic Bowl to get their first bowl win in a decade.

Richt has hit the recruiting trails hard and Miami has the No. 1 recruiting class for 2018 currently.
